lulupowder.jpg Unwashed hair is a definite glamour don’t, but for those days you just want to hit the snooze, or maybe a morning-after “walk of shame,” there’s more than a few treatments that can help with the oily buildup that ruins your look. Our picks: For the bohemian girl: Lulu Organic’s Hair Powder. Just rub through your roots and you can extend your time between shampoos. And of course, since talc is completely carcinogenic (ha), it’s talc-free and completely all-natural: Itโ€™s made of cornstarch, rice powder, clay, horsetail powder (?!), baking soda, and essential oils โ€” so itโ€™s totally safe. Sold in four scents (lavender and sage, jasmine, patchouli and amber, and tuberose), the stuff comes in uber-gorgeous packaging (at least that’s what I love) and works miracles on grease. Purchase for $40 (yikes!) here.

For the glamour girl on the go, Cake Beauty makes a less expensive ($18) powder in the yummy scent of lemon cookies. Not only that, but you get to choose from a light and a dark shade, depending on your haircolor; as well as a separate sweet-smelling refreshing mist, any of which can be purchased here. Brilliant!

Ahh, something for dark hair! I’d heard about the talc tip for blonde hair. Hmm, something to invest in maybe, not that I frequent the walk of shame often or anything ๐Ÿ˜€ Miss Trunchbull scared the life out of me, she threw some girl over the school wall by her pigtails!

I’ve been looking for something like that FOREVER! Thanks for sharing TWO options…think I’ll give the Cake a try first. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a hair-washing phobe, so even if I have no time i’ll wash my hair anyway. But those hair powders are so good for making your hair more thick-looking and voluminous, I used to use the Bumble and Bumble ones. Now I want to try the Cake good-smelling ones!
